WEEK ONE


For my environment I chose the dramatic and aptly named Rocky Mountains. formed by relentless swelling and folding deep within the earth; much like my clients, the Rocky mountains have risen from anonymity to iconic status.





As for my mashup; my concept of power revolved around exposure and publicity. Amongst other things I used the concept of Ive's work process as an analogy to how celebrities 'sculpt' and 'carve' themselves; often with use of silicone. I drew reference to the way in which Lady Gaga's prowess with the social media has influenced her power, and demonstrated Oprah's power with her ability to draw an A-list crowd.

In class this week, we were required to produce a series of One point perspectives exploring T prisms in space. These were quite easy to draw; however just as with our axonometrics last experiment; the real challenge come in having the spacial awareness to draw the same shape from different angles. below is a selection of 9 of such drawings:
